globular

inches
long
.
It
has
a
hard
prickly
rind
,
containing
a
soft
,
cream-colored
pulp
,
of
a
most
delicious
flavor
and
a
very
offensive
odor
.
The
seeds
are
roasted
and
eaten
like
chestnuts
.
