structurally
to
digitalin
and
digoxin
.
It
is
used
as
a
cardiotonic
for
treatment
of
certain
heart
conditions

such
as
congestive
heart
failure
.
Chemically
it
is

related
compounds
digitalin
and
digoxin
are
also
extracted
from
the
foxglove

lanata
