Pteroglossus

genera
of
the
family
Ramphastidæ

They
have
a
very
large

light
and
thin

beak
,
often
nearly
as
long
as
the
body
itself
.
Most
of
the
species
are
brilliantly
colored
with
red
,
yellow
,
white
,
and
black
in
striking
contrast
.
