insects
,
such
as
the
May
flies
,
intermediate
between
the
pupa
and
imago
.
In
this
stage
,
the
insect
is
able
to
fly
,
but
subsequently
sheds
a
skin
before
becoming
mature
.
Called
also
pseudimago
.
