It

placenta

and

nucleus
within
two
delicate
coatings
.
The
attached
base
of
the
ovule
is
the
hilum
,
the
coatings
are
united
with
the
nucleus
at
the
chalaza
,
and
their
minute
orifice
is
the
foramen
.
