camels

but
much
smaller
and
without
a
hump
.
It
is
supposed
to
be
a
domesticated
variety
of
the
guanaco
.
It
was
formerly
much
used
as
a
beast
of
burden
in
the
Andes
,
and
is
also
kept
on
some
ranches
in
the
United
States
.
