A
genus
of
huge
,
carnivorous
,
dinosaurian
reptiles
from
the
Cretaceous
formation
of
the
United
States
.
They
had
very
large
hind
legs
and
tail
,
and
are
supposed
to
have
been
bipedal
.
Some
of
the
species
were
about
eighteen
feet
high
.
