condition
due

intestinal
obstruction
.
It
is
characterized
by
complete
constipation
,
with
griping
pains
in
the
abdomen
,
which
is
greatly
distended
,
and
in
the
later
stages
by
vomiting
of
fecal
matter
.
Called
also
ileac
passion
or
iliac
passion
.
