modification

consisting
essentially
of
a
fly
wheel
fixed
inside
a
rigid
case
to
which
is
attached
a
thin
flange
of
metal
for
supporting
the
instrument
.
It
is
used
in
studying
the
dynamics
of
rotating
bodies
.
