neuralgia
,
characterized
by
acute
lancinating
pains
returning
at
intervals
,
and
by
twinges
in
certain
parts
of
the
face
,
producing
convulsive
twitches
in
the
corresponding
muscles
; -
called
also
tic douloureux
.
