Definition of Eustachian valve

a
crescent-shaped
fold
of
the
lining
membrane
of
the
heart
at
the
entrance
of
the
vena
cava
inferior
.
It
directs
the
blood
towards
the
left
auricle
in
the
fetus
,
but
is
rudimentary
and
functionless
in
the
adult
.
