Eagle ray

Definition of Eagle ray

(Zool.) any large species of ray of the genus Myliobatis (esp. M. aquila).
any large ray of the family Myliobatidæ, or Ætobatidæ. The common European species (Myliobatis aquila) is called also whip ray, and miller.
