Dawn

In the end of the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene . . . to see the sepulcher.

When life awakes, and dawns at every line.

Dawn on our darkness and lend us thine aid.

And oft at dawn, deep noon, or falling eve.

No sun, no moon, no morn, no noon,
No dawn, no dusk, no proper time of day.

These tender circumstances diffuse a dawn of serenity over the soul.
