as
a
neckerchief
.
The
term
is
also
used
for
any
large
and
brightly
colored
handkerchief
.

worn
on
the
neck

,
usually

large
size
.

style
of
calico
printing
,
in
which
white
or
bright
spots
are
produced
upon
cloth
previously
dyed
of
a

red

dark
